Abstract
The accession of Bulgaria to the European Union on 1 January 2007 is linked with many costs and benefits for its citizens, companies, regions as well as for the country as a whole. Some students are divided in two competing groups – one defending the benefits from EU accession and the other one – defending the costs from EU accession. The other students are the public and they also participate in the interactive debate. The main goal of this interactive debate is to stimulate students to understand and to comment the challenges and opportunities from Bulgaria’s accession to the EU.
