Prof. Ingrid Shikova presented the project "Hub Europe - a new approach to teaching and learning EU topics at school" and the book "EUROPE AT SCHOOL - for teachers with imagination" at the Annual meeting of the European information networks in Bulgaria, organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria on June 27-30, 2022 in Pomorie.
Positive impressions were expressed about the usefulness of the materials and suggestions for book reprint in order to distribute it to more schools in Bulgaria.

Teachers from schools in the country and Sofia evaluate the online Hub Europe as particularly useful for increasing knowledge about the European Union. They point to its advantages: the high level of information provided, the diverse, in different aspects, up-to-date and in accessible language reports on the work of the EU and their free accessibility for every user. They are used both by teachers in their pedagogical practice and by students for independent training. Some of it has been introduced into pedagogical practice for school work on European topics.

On June 17, 2022 within the framework of civic education training organized by EUROPE DIRECT Smolyan and the NGO "Young improvers for Youth Development-YIYD, Prof. Ingrid Shikova presented the developed pedagogical tools for interactive teaching of the topics of the European Union and the book "Europe at School - for teachers with imagination" in front of 11-12 grade students and teachers from Smolyan and the region.

The final event of the project - National Student Scientific Conference “The Voice of Youth - Energy for Europe” - gathered in the Aula of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” students and young researchers in European Studies, who have contributed to the implementation of the project as well as students’ teams from secondary schools with their mentors, awarded within the National Competition “Europe is my home – let’s keep it clean and green”. The students from the „ Antoine de Saint Exupéry” class were hosting the event. The forum was attended by more than 120 participants. It enriched the exchange of ideas and experience, critical thinking, ability to debate about EU and its future among young people. It gave a great opportunity for students to practice presenting their research to a group of peers and an added value to the opening of the University to secondary education.
