The Euro banknotes were issued so far in two series. The first one “'The ages and styles of Europe” is in circulation from 2002. The second one – “Europe”, from 2013. Both Series are currently under circulation.
The name of the banknotes – the Euro is written in three alphabets in the new “Europe” series: Latin, Greek and Cyrillic.
The Euro banknotes are identical for both sides for all EU Member States.
