Abstract

The accession of Bulgaria to the European Union on 1 January 2007 is linked with many costs and benefits for its citizens, companies, regions as well as for the country as a whole. The students are divided in different groups and shall identify maximum number of costs and benefits from EU accession. The goal of this interactive game is to stimulate students to understand and to comment the challenges and opportunities from Bulgaria’s accession to the EU.
