Krasimira Vasileva, PhD holds a master's degree from the Chemistry Faculty of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She has scientific developments, publications and two recognized inventions in the field of optical fibers.

She also has a master's degree in "Teaching Methods" from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Krasimira Vasileva earned her PhD in the field of "Theory of Education and Didactics", on "The formation of European values in the system of extracurricular activities". She has many years of pedagogical experience as a teacher in secondary school and in the Faculty of Education at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski.“
She is an author of many books and scientific articles in the field of non-formal education and extracurricular activities with students, European educational policies, as well as didactic materials and manuals on European topics for secondary education. She develops the new for Bulgaria methodology of educational form for working with students on a European topic in extracurricular activities - European Club and establishes the National Association of Bulgarian European Clubs - NABEC, of which she is the chairman.
She is a lecturer and moderator of a number of scientific meetings and conferences at European and national level in the field of education, culture, human rights, education and youth policy in the EU. She has been a trainer under the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme in its implementation in Bulgaria since 2016. She has received awards from the European Commission for successfully implemented projects. Krasimira Vasileva has a number of awards and distinctions from Ministry of Education, Human Resources Development Center, the European Parliament, the Recor of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior. She has been awarded with the Badge of honour of the Minister of Interior.
